HI! I'M ALEX.
I’m a mechanical and aerospace Engineering student at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. I am passionate about making things to solve the world's problems, and using the tools of design and manufacturing to improve human efficiency.
In 2021 I completed an internship at Peloton Interactive, working as a hardware intern, as well as working at Moth + Flame, as an F16 Fighter Pilot Simulation Developer.
I spent spring of 2022 as a Falcon Design Intern at SpaceX, designing and upgrading systems on the world's most popular rocket. During this year Falcon 9 launched a record 60 times.
I believe that one of the goals of life is to improve the lives of those around you. I strive to create things that solve problems and help others’ lives.
I spend my free time working on various projects involving 3D printing, woodwork, machining, coding, and circuits to make some awesome things, some of which are seen below or under “Select projects”.
Have a look at the work I’ve done in the past, and get in touch to learn more!
